Spirit of the Valley

Spirit of the Valley was born March 14, 2011 near Cape Split, Nova Scotia in the beautiful Annapolis Valley. She came to Moonshire Meadow on July 20, 2011. You can read about her first day on a previous blog: A doe. A doe. A female . . . goat.

Spirit was timid when she arrived. But less than three weeks later, we’re able to lead her around on a lead rope, feed her by hand and approach her without her leaping away from us. My daughter has been working with her and plans to show her at an exhibition next summer.

Owner: Sam Smith, Summer Young Toggenburgs

Ears up, even pace and I’m outta here.

Pink! Really? I’d much prefer red or blue or maybe mud-boggin brown.
